Mr. Vinod Taamar has over 35 years of business experience in the field of seismology, earthquake early warning systems and structural health monitoring of dams, bridges and high rise buildings.Mr Taamar has worked with various IITs and CSIR labs of India to provide turnkey solutions for earthquake monitoring and early warning systems. He has also lent his expertise to improve the in-house research and development capabilities of these institutes and departments.He has worked on several projects in structural health monitoring of fägh rise buildings, working closely with leading players in the real-estate industry such as DLF, Hindustan Unilever and Reliance Industries. These projects have installed critical communication network infrastructure which has enabled real time monitoring of high rise buildings.Mr. Taamar has also extensively worked in dam monitoring with several government agencies to not just install and maintain health-monitoring instrumentation and state-of-the-art wireless sensors, but also to provide solutions for post-processing the data obtained from the geotechnical instruments installed on-site.
